The Valtice chateau
Valtice Castle is a jewel of South Moravia, the Czech Republic’s main wine region. Its history spans almost 1,000 years. The castle is located just an hour’s drive from Vienna, close to the Austrian border.
Valtice forms part of the Lednice–Valtice Cultural Landscape, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Following its recent renovation, the castle has regained its former splendour while preserving the atmosphere of an aristocratic residence.
For the ceremony, couples can choose from the castle park, chapel, or an intimate registry hall with a fireplace. The wedding reception can be held in the castle restaurant or salon for up to 50 guests, or in the grand ceremonial hall for up to 150 guests.
The luxurious historic interiors, gardens, and surrounding vineyards provide a stunning backdrop for an elegant wedding photoshoot.
